Birmingham Heart Clinic is a cardiology practice specializing in the detection, management and treatment of adult cardiovascular diseases. With the recent addition of Dr. Michael S. Bailey, board certified cardiac electrophysiologist, we now offer invasive and non-invasive treatment for comprehensive cardiac arrhythmia disorders.

Every month is heart awareness month at Birmingham Heart Clinic. We offer a cardiac risk assessment for $125. This comprehensive screening includes a calcium score, which uses the 64-slice CT scanner to measure the amount of calcified plaque in your heart’s arteries. In addition to the calcium score, you will receive an EKG, blood pressure and total cholesterol lab work… all for only $125.

An acute or chronic heart condition can become evident during a routine annual physical exam or through a specific set of symptoms, and expert diagnosis is crucial in determining the most appropriate course of treatment. Patients at Birmingham Heart Clinic are examined by outstanding physicians who provide a full range of diagnostic services for adults with heart disease. The on-site ICAEL certified diagnostic facility offers echocardiograms, EKG’s, nuclear stress testing, Doppler carotid artery evaluations, non-invasive flow studies of the lower extremity arteries and veins, and cardiac pacemaker and defibrillator testing/follow-up. In addition, Birmingham Heart Clinic utilizes the 2006 Best in KLAS award winning Toshiba 64-slice CT scanner to potentially reduce patients’ need for invasive heart catheterization studies.
