How We Got Started
Two brothers, Robert and Dennis, started the company (January 1996) as a residential powerwashing and painting comany. Their jobs ranged from Ms. Jones bedroom, insurance fire work, apartment complexes, churches, University of South Alabama's housing unit of 72 six plexes. In 2000 they painted their first NEW HOME neighborhood for Mitchell Homes of Mobile and quickly decided to specialize in this segment. RD Lowes, Inc. is currently Mobile's largest new home painting contractor (covering Mobile and Baldwin County, AL.) We completed 568 homes for 22 builders in 2006 bringing our total to 1625 to date.
By 2003 RD Lowes, Inc. had established itself as "A New Home - Painting, Powerwashing, Interior Cleaning and Trim Carpentry - Company". They serve some customers with all four trades and other customers with just one trade.
Our goal is to become regional painters and are currently looking for Builders along the Mississippi coast to team up with.
RD Lowes, Inc. has developed a new home painting system that completes a first paint on an average 1500 - 3000 square foot house in one day. We do this without sacrificing quality. Second paints take one day to complete. Then the RD Lowes' QC Team dots, inspects, and touches up the house. Our goal is to always turn out the same quality home - paint after paint.
RD Lowes, Inc. considers themselvs part of the Builders team and strives to please the home buyer (al all times, the super-intendents (with scheduling, bonus dates) and the Builders (proper paperwork, insurance and appearances.)
