Dr. Svensson went to medical school at the University of South Alabama and fell in love with the Gulf Coast. Since graduating from medical school, he always wished he could return to the area. With the recent rapid growth in the area and the expansions to the South Baldwin Regional Medical Center, he knew the time to move to Foley was right. So his dream finally became a reality.

Dr. Svensson always envisioned a place where women of any ages can come for any medical needs. The Women’s Wellness Center treats most obstetrics and gynecology problems along with other illnesses such as hypertension, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, obesity, and endocrine disorders. The Center is also capable of counseling women regarding weight loss, stress management, depression, premenstrual syndrome, menopause symptoms, and nutrition. Dr. Svensson also works in cooperation with the other fine physicians in the area for referrals if general surgery, orthopedic, or advanced medical problems arise.

The staff and Dr. Svensson pride themselves in providing individual care for every patient. Each patient is treated in a friendly warm atmosphere with personal respect. The Center specializes in programs concerning weight loss, nutrition, sexual dysfunction, and self motivation. Dr. Charles Svensson and the staff of The Woman’s Wellness Center look forward to helping all women with their health care needs.
