Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgical Associates, P.C. is a group of surgeons and associated health care professionals specializing in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery. Since its founding in 1971, CTVSA has performed over 20,000 open heart procedures, 8,000 peripheral vascular procedures, and 2,000 lung and chest wall operations.
In order to maintain the highest standards of care for our patients, we continuously work to stay abreast of advances in our areas of expertise. Our physicians are fully trained in heart and blood vessel surgery. We also have extensive experience in the surgical treatment of lung, chest wall and esophageal cancers. We have set up cardiac surgical programs at the three centers in Mobile, and one at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope.
