Team AAL&OS is participating in the 9th Annual Amputees Across America cross-country bicycle tour...an American journey of amputees, crossing the United States on bicycles proving what is
possible after a life changing event.
Richard Deneve, AAL&OS' lead prosthetic technician and below knee amputee will join the tour and pedal over 1,000 miles along the route talking with patients who are currently going through rehab and recovery after the effects of trauma or illness due to amputation or stroke.
For the first time in several years, the riders will be coming through Montgomery, where plans are already in the works for an exciting welcome reception. Join Alabama Artificial Limb and Orthopedic Services on FaceBook to stay in touch with our plans and track Richard's progress as he journals about his ride experience!
Richard has pledged to raising $1500 for Amputees Across America. You can encourage Richard and other riders by making a contribution today through the Alabama Association for the Physically Challenged, a 501(c)(3) organization. All amounts are greatly appreciated...$5, $25, $100 or more will benefit this great cause.
Please send check or money order payable to the Alabama Association for the Physically Challenged, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
