You may ask what makes us the “caring company”? Allow me to give you just one example. The other day as we were opening our store a lady and her daughter came in. The lady only had one leg; she was looking for a motorized wheelchair. We showed her the different kinds and she found one she liked. Our tech then began to let her know that we would have to measure her and get her weight and height. Her daughter asked him why we needed to do all this just to get a chair. He explained that the chair had to be customized to fit her specific needs or it could cause her medical or physical problems…She began to cry and explained why. Her mother had a chair but the chair kept rubbing the side of her leg and because of her diabetes it rubbed a sore that would not heal and she ended up having to have the leg amputated. After talking with us she realized that the chair didn’t have to fit like that and she could have saved her leg. No one else had ever told her about fitting the chair for her needs and to make sure that it would even fit thru her doorways at home etc… She was so grateful for our concern and CARE.
