Get Treads That Master The Mud - Want more control in the mud? The key is using narrow tires with widely spaced lugs. Wider rubber picks up mud and jams your frame stays and fork with the muck. Narrow tires penetrate mud to reach the harder ground below for better traction. Choose taller knobs for more grip; shallower knobs for lower rolling resistance (on mud-free sections).
