The Breast Care Center in the Women's Pavilion, Huntsville Hospital for Women and Children, provides the region's only center dedicated exclusively to the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and other breast-related disorders. The center combines state-of-the-art medical care and technology with a caring and compassionate approach sensitive to answering a patient's most pressing concerns in the timeliest fashion possible.
Therapeutic plans integrate the expert opinions of multiple medical and surgical specialists but are tailored to the needs and preferences of the individual patient. Integral to the center's mission and purpose is the promotion of breast health for all women, with or without a diagnosis of cancer, through education, lifestyle alteration, standardized risk assessment, and, if warranted or requested, medical and surgical preventive measures.
