Heilmeier's Bed and Biscuit is a luxury boarding facility. It is your pet's home away from home, whether you are traveling to the Gulf Coast for business or vacationing on our beautiful beaches in Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. We understand pets are part of the family, so we give your pet plenty of love and cuddle time to make them feel like part of our family while you are away. We also have a fully staffed veterinary practice for your pets' medical needs and a professional pet grooming shop and boutique to pamper and care for your pets while they are boarding with Heilmeier's Bed & Biscuit.
Our luxury boarding suites are a special part of our new boarding facility. They have been individually designed and decorated to have a cheerful and fun atmosphere for your loved ones while they stay with us. Each suite has been hand painted by local art students to include cartoon themes such as Lady and the Tramp, Clifford the Big Red Dog and Garfield just to name a few of the more popular ones. For the sports lovers boarding with us, we also have hand-painted Alabama and Auburn themed suites. All suites in the pet kennel have custom hand made beds and color tv's.

The spacious indoor runs the Bed and Biscuit offers provide enough room for 2-3 dogs to stay together so they don't get lonely. They are divided by concrete walls so all pets have their privacy, but open doors so they can see their furry friends. Each pet is provided a bed, but you are welcome to bring their own.
We have 15 separate exercise yards for playtime. Each pet goes outside 3-4 times daily for plenty of exercise and play. The tree-shaded, outdoor yards are separated by chain link fencing so they can socialize, but still be in their own protected area.
Doggie Daycare has become very popular for visitors that have day plans, whether it be shopping or the beach. Daycare is $13.00 for the indoor runs and $18.00 for the luxury suites. Outdoor playtime is of course included.
Our feline facility is separate from our K-9 kennel boarding, so that all of our kitty boarders feel right at home. Each kitty is provided with their own house so they can do what kitty's do best-Relax!!
